FAU Seeks Mothers Who Are Interested in Their Infant's Emotional Development

March 9, 2011
Want to learn more about your infants’ emotions?  FAU students and faculty are doing a project on infant emotions during maternal inattention.  The information gathered from studies like this are used as the basis for understanding how children develop.  I am looking for infants 5-15 months of age, and it will only take an hour and a half of your time.  We use two conditions, one is with a cookbook and the other uses a baby doll.  Moreover we are looking at the temperament of the infant as well as interaction between mother and child.  Mother and child are never separated during their participation.  We are located on the Jupiter FAU campus and available at any time.   Plus we provide a gift for your infant for their participation. You can contact me Alexis Blau, 407-620-8712 and ablau1@fau.edu or Nancy Jones, Ph.D. 561-799-8632.
