St. Mark's Episcopal School

October 8, 2015
St. Mark’s strives to go beyond traditional academics by providing children of all faiths a top-notch academic program while allowing them to cultivate their own talents and develop a heart for service.

The core curriculum of St. Mark’s includes math through geometry honors, foreign languages, literature and grammar, hands-on science, history, library, computer, physical education, and Christian education.  A special emphasis on teaching writing skills begins in Pre-K.  In addition, students are encouraged to explore other areas through enrichment classes such as visual and graphic art, photography, drama, dance, musical theater, and vocal and instrumental music.

“Our campus redevelopment has enhanced St. Mark’s academic programs,” said Head of School Donna Bradley.  “For example, middle-school students excel through the utilization of a new, state-of-the-art science lab, and it has enriched the vibrant fine arts program the school offers.”

As Page Cash, both a faculty member and parent, said, “St. Mark’s teaches children to look past themselves to see and care about the world beyond.”
