2016 Happening Halloween Events and Fall Festivals

The 2016 Halloween season is almost here! We've highlighted lots of exciting, fun-filled events for the entire family. Get a head start on planning ahead now. This list will be constantly updated so keep checking back and make sure you let us know if you hear about any upcoming events by using our submit an event form.

October:

1-2, Pumpkin Painting Party at Kids Need More Art: Celebrate Fall with Kids Need More Art's Pumpkin Painting Parties! Pumpkin, pizza and all supplies are included in cost.

8, Fall Family Fun Fest at the South Florida Science Center & Aquarium: Guests are welcome to enjoy science-themed crafts, face painting, a bounce house, live science demonstrations, carnival-style games and much more.

Spooky Snooze Overnight Program at Palm Beach Zoo: Are you brave enough to spend a night at the zoo? If you are, then join us for a special Spooky Snooze program! Don't worry, because we'll unmask the creatures of the night and show you that they're not so scary after all. Enjoy an evening of Halloween-themed fun including animal encounters, pumpkin painting,and night time tour. Pizza and continental breakfast are included.

Free Family Fun Fest at City Place Fall Festival: Bring the kids in costume and enjoy an afternoon of trick or treating as well as all kinds of fun activities! Enjoy fun crafts and a Monster Mash Dance Party!

16, Fall Family Festival at the Mounts Botanical Garden:
Bring the family and celebrate with us through a variety of fun-filled activities. This festival features pumpkin and face painting, pony rides, bounce houses, rock walls, education exhibits and much more!

18, Pumpkin Party and Storytime at Jupiter Community Center: Join the Town of Jupiter Recreation Divison for the Pumpkin Party and Storytime. Bring your little pumpkin ot party! Children will enjoy a morning of pumpkin stories, silly rhymens, and arts and crafts! Children aare welcome to wear their costumes.

21, Friday Night Flicks - Hotel Transylvania 2 at Abacoa Amphitheater: Grab your lawn chair and come join us at Friday Night Flicks at the Abacoa Amphitheater. Visit one of the great local establishments and sit under the stars for this family movie showing!

21, Boo at the Zoo (Palm Beach Zoo): Guests can enjoy trick-or-treating, costume contests, the decorate-your-own pumpkin patch, live music from a DJ in the Interactive Play Fountain area, giveaways, haystack hunt, face painting or airbrush tattoos, roving animal encounters, not-so-scary wildlife presentations and much more.

Mad Science Halloween Party: Parents, Enjoy a few hours to yourself on a Friday night! Drop your kids off for this spook-tacular party & let Mad Science entertain them! The children will experience exciting experiments while helping our Mad Scientist solve some Halloween mysteries. Kids will enjoy eating PIZZA and drinking 'witches brew' juice. We will end the night with a fun costume parade, so make sure they come dressed in their favorite costume!

22, Boo Bash at Downtown at the Gardens: Eat, Drink and Be Scary! The annual Boo Bash by Downtown at the Gardens combines kids games, activities, a costume contest and more!

21-23, "Spookyville" at the South Florida Fairgrounds:
Spookyville, an old fashion Halloween for families and children 12 and under, offers a full array of safe trick or treats, kiddie rides, contests, games, and arts & crafts. It’s a throwback to the traditional days of family Halloweens in a fun, secure and family friendly environment.

22, Scarecrow Festival and Contest: The Scarecrow Contest continues as the big draw, with schools, individuals, and community groups vying for cash prizes as they enter homemade scarecrows into the annual competition.The courthouse lawn will be filled with favorites like pumpkin decorating, craft tents, and more! Local agricultural displays and WaterVentures, a mobile learning lab, will educate visitors on the history of agriculture and the importance of conserving our natural resources.

22, Pumpkin Bash at Harbourside Place: Join Harbourside Place & Little Smiles for a family-fun day filled with pumpkins, candy and all things Halloween.

22, Halloween Storytime at Barnes and Noble: Beep! Beep! It's Halloween! Little Blue Truck is back and picking up his animal friends for a costume party. And in I Need My Monster, a unique under-the-bed story, Ethan checks under his bed for his monster Gabe and finds a note from him instead. Join us for a fun-filled Halloween Storytime.

28, Kooky Halloween in Jupiter: Mark your calendars to join your fellow resident ghosts, princesses, monsters, & superheroes at the Jupiter Community Center for a creepy evening of fun! Activities will include inflatable bounce houses, candy, music, prizes, games, a flashlight Egg Haunt.

29, Halloween Skate Contest at Jupiter Skate Park: Prizes will be awarded to top 3 places in each age division.Costumes are encouraged. Age Groups: 11 & Under, 12-15 & 16 & up.
